HRuday organises a Session with Dr Rahul Mirchandani- Chairman-International Relations, Partnerships & Next Practices,CII’s Young Indians.

 

Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India’s premier business association, formed in the year 2002, with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation.

 

Dr. Mirchandani along with his team would brief the students in detail on Yi, clarify their expectations, outline a process for students to enrol and discuss possible projects and partnership opportunities with them and some of the faculty.

 

They will also provide information on national and international events that have already been scheduled on their 2011-12 Yi Calendar.

 

This is a good opportunity for students to associate themselves with a name of such repute.

National level Best HR Summer Project Competition

An opportunity to showcase your paper in front of eminent HR leaders in the industry…

After the resounding success of PANKH ’10, HRuday is pleased to announce THE BEST HR SUMMER PROJECT COMPETITION ’11. This year the grand finale will be held on Saturday, 6^th August 2011.

Pankh give you a platform to let the HR world know your findings over the summer projects, and in turn be rewarded for the same too.

To participate in the event all you have to do is:-

·         Preliminary Round: Send us the executive summary of your HR summer project before
30^th July 11:59PM.
·         Final Round: Top 7 entries will present their paper in the Final Round in front of a panel of industry experts and faculty members on 6^th August 2011 at NMIMS, Mumbai. 


Winners receive
1^st Prize:  
1.      VIP luggage worth Rs 8000
2.      Rs 10000 cash prize along with certificate

 2^nd Prize:  
1.      VIP luggage worth Rs 8000

Guidelines:

1. The executive summary of your project should not exceed 500 words. The document should be in Microsoft Doc format with Times New Roman, font size 12 and line spacing 1.5 with the cover page containing student name, college, email id, contact number, project title, faculty guide name, company name, company guide name.  Any deviation from the given format will lead to rejection of the entry.

2. Mail your entries to hruday@nmims.edu in the following format: PANKH_NAME_COLLEGE with subject line being the same.

3. Last date of submission of Executive Summary: 30^th July 11:59PM. Final round would be on 6^th August 2011 at NMIMS Mumbai.

4. Top 7 entries would be intimated by mail that would have to present their project in front of a panel comprising industry experts and faculty members. Travel Fare will be reimbursed for Sleeper Class to and fro journey or one way Three Tier AC.

5. This competition is open for only those projects executed in the summers of 2011.

The best entries will be featured in the newsletter and be awarded with a certificate of appreciation.

Guest Lecture on "Career Progression in HR"

HRuday is organizing a guest lecture on "Career Progressions in HR" by Ms. Pooja Gangwal, HR Specialist at Booz and Company (a global consulting firm).
